An Analogy for the Current Energies: A Tapestry

A freebie forecast

Welcome to your analogy for the current energies beginning on February 27th.

This is the first freebie forecast I've sent out. These videos are usually exclusive to paid subscribers on Substack, but these current energies are important, and I wanted to send it to all of you. If you enjoy this and want more, you can upgrade to a paid subscription.

For those of you who are already paid or those who want to join for $5 a month, even less if you join annually, we are having our monthly Follow the Moon gathering on Zoom on March 4th. During these gatherings, we come together. I talk about the current energies, and you can ask me as many questions as you want. It's like a round table. You can pick my brain, share your birthday, and we can dive into the current energy specific to you. It's a time to connect to our own stardust, the constellations of one another, and make sense of the universe together.

On February 27th, we’re opening up a window, and these current energies are really bringing in the analogy of a tapestry. I use analogies because, with a symbol, you can connect the dots for what it means in your life, and you can carry the symbol with you throughout the days and weeks to come. The symbol is a tapestry.

When we think about a tapestry, there are two sides. There's the front, where all the threads are woven together, and the design is beautiful—it’s a piece of art. On the other side, there are all the threads and knots, and the ways those threads have woven together to create the image of perfection.

The energy we’re starting with, in a new moon in Pisces, leads us into Pisces season of eclipses. This is a time where there’s a paradox—nothing is as it seems, and there are two sides to every story. An alternate analogy could be a yin yang, where there's both white and black. So, we want to ask ourselves, "What side of the tapestry is this?" If it’s messy, if it doesn’t look good, if we don’t like it, can we say, “Wait, this is just the knotted backside of the tapestry, and there is another side to this?"

We’re just holding space during these energies and during eclipse season. As we come into eclipse season, we have an eclipse on March 14th and another one on March 29th. It’s like a high-speed train taking you to a destination. We can enter what's called the eclipse tunnel, and this energy is already up in the air. When you’re in a tunnel, you need to go with the flow of traffic.

Especially in Pisces season, the fish swims in its natural migration patterns—sometimes downstream, sometimes upstream. The idea is to allow yourself to be with what is. If it’s uncomfortable, messy, or misaligned, remind yourself, "Maybe this is just the back side of the tapestry," and trust that things will come together.

We're also focusing on the idea of chaos versus perfection. There’s a quote that goes something like this: The divine looks at what we perceive as chaos and says, “That’s perfection.” And we, as humans, look at what we think is perfection and say, “No, this is perfect!” The divine looks at that and says, "That’s chaos."

What we feel is chaotic, the divine may see as perfect. Maybe you can think back to times when things were falling apart but came together in ways you couldn't see. This is the vibe we're in—looking at the back of the tapestry, where it feels messy, but we are weaving something beautiful. We’re weaving a masterpiece.

There’s a lot of nostalgia energy going on, and we’re entering Mercury retrograde on March 14th and Venus retrograde on March 1st. We are looking back at all the ways life has been woven, leading us to where we’re supposed to be. If you're feeling uncertain right now, you can also look back at other times in your life when you were carried along, floating through a current.

During this time, remember the mantra: "If it's messy and not working, this too shall pass." This too shall pass when you allow yourself to accept what is and flow with it. When you detach, surrender, and allow yourself to be moved by life, you are weaving your tapestry.

We are weaving our own tapestry; it’s not someone else’s. So, surrender becomes easier because we’re surrendering to ourselves—our own power as creators. We’re surrendering to the fact that we’ve knotted things up this way for a reason. It’s temporary, and this too shall pass. There will be a high tide and a low tide; we’re in the paradox. Isn’t that the human experience? We’re physical beings, yet we have a non-physical experience as well. We are the sweet spot between the physical and the non-physical, between heaven and earth. We’re asked to lean into that during these times.

There are two sides to every person, too. Venus goes retrograde on March 1st for several weeks, and every person is a tapestry—each a masterpiece, but also messy. We’re invited to give others permission to either have it all together or be tied up in a falling-apart mess. And we can give ourselves permission to be the same.

It’s essential to be in a space of non-judgment during these energies—ideally for ourselves, for our lives, and for others. That’s how we come to understand how chaos can become perfection and how perfection can become chaotic. We enter this weaving energy—we’re weaving our realities, but to do that, we need to flow with it. We need to be in a state of surrender and allow ourselves to be moved by life.

Resting is key because surrendering into life has to do with our subconscious. When we rest, sleep, meditate, or feel the nature around us, we allow the subconscious, the water within us, the stardust in our DNA, to carry us for a while.

Remember, all is not as it seems, and that’s the best news ever. It’s also a reminder when you think you have to have everything together and perfect. We’re not chasing anything right now—we’re swimming along with the currents.

The tapestry I’m feeling is like an ancient, regal tapestry hanging in a museum—something majestic. It’s this magical time. Not only are we entering a new era, but we need to continue respecting and having reverence for the life we’ve created and will continue to create. We’re at the end of an era, as Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. Soon, in 2025, all the outer planets will shift. Pluto has already shifted, and all the others will follow. We are on the brink of a new beginning—one that we can’t even fully comprehend yet.

So, let’s take in what’s in front of us right now as if it’s this majestic, beautiful, regal royal tapestry. And even the most beautiful tapestry is created by knotted threads. These threads don’t need to be untied. If we try to fix or untie them, the beauty might dissolve.
